Street Scene Revolution

About Street Scene Revolution

The street is unlike any other racing scene in the world. There are no lines drawn on the side streets of America defining rivalries between Imports and Domestics. Nor does anyone care about holding a swimsuit competition, foam pit, or jello wrestling on the sidewalk. When two cars line up on the street, only one factor matters; who can get from point A to point B first...without crashing.

The true motorsports scene isn’t Imports, Domestics, or even the Sports Compact Car Scene; rather it is the Street Scene. The Street Scene is not only racing, it is a lifestyle, where young adults, between the ages of 16-30, spend endless hours cruising, hanging out in parking lots with friends, and blasting music from their cars, among other things. Unless a person is actively in the street scene, an outsider will NEVER understand it, let alone be able to design a racing series to accommodate it.

The drag racing series designed by Street Scene Revolution was not created by a group of baby boomers in suits, sitting in ergonomic leather chairs, looking over pie charts, assessing the target demographic of a race series, as they reminisce about the muscle car day. Street Scene Revolution was founded by a group of ex-illegal street racers that spent well over a decade living and breathing the Street Scene from when the Sports Compact Car era was in obscurity.

The sad truth is, the majority of motorsport sanctioning bodies do not see the Street Scene as legitimate racers, rather as spectators! Little do they understand the unparalled level of commitment and desire of the Street Scene. With the majority of racers on the street between the ages of 16-30, very few can afford a car to race other than their daily driver. Street Scene racers will defy all conventional logic. They spend their whole pay check and risk thousands in credit card debt to simply bolt on performance parts trying to quench their need for speed. The same car they drive every day, acts as a lifeline to the racer, taking them to work, college, and the store; they’ll also race it down the street and the drag strips at test and tunes. They race fully aware that if something breaks on their vehicle, which happens all too often, their only source of transportation is gone, yet they still take the chance.

In regards to the success and expansion of the racing industry, the Street Scene is composed of the same people that can and will now fuel the next generation of motorsports. They are no different from Christian Rado who took his DAILY DRIVER 15 second Acura Integra “ricer mobile” through trial and breakage, to the first fwd to break 160mph and eventually become the first Unibody fwd in the 8’s! Furthermore, let us not forget that the profitability of aftermarket performance companies comes not from the purchases of professional racers, but the bolt-on modifications installed on the vehicles of the Street Scene!

The best ideas are born out of necessity.

With sanctioning bodies that would rather sell the Street Scene tickets to the stands, than a tech card to race; local drag strips that offer boring bracket programs and non-competitive test and tunes, and the local police and magistrate rightfully cracking down on street racing, what is to become of the MOST POWERFUL motorsports demographic in America? Will it drift into obscurity? I think not, not any longer.

Whether you’re into the Import Scene, Muscle Cars, Sports Compact Cars, Domestic Scene, Tuner Scene, or Sports Bike Culture, if it is on wheels, driven on the street, and you feed off the adrenaline derived from driving a car fast, Street Scene Revolution is the racing series for you! Whether you have a 17 second stock Pontiac Fiero or a 10 second modified Toyota Supra, Street Scene Revolution’s five car classes are specifically designed to level the playing field. If you’re a two wheel junkie Street Scene Revolution has designed two classes that accommodate 600cc bikes all the way up to Hayabusa’s!

A unique trait to Street Scene Revolution that few other sanctioning bodies offer is, we offer a minimum of three qualifying round! First time racing on a drag strip? No need to fret, as the majority of the participants have little to no experience racing on a track. Furthermore, to acclimate racers to the drag strip, onsite staff and ex-illegal street racers belonging to the motorsports association Evo Street Racers will answer any questions and literally walk the racers through the drag racing process!

Going beyond the 60' of the drag strip in order to create the premier street scene series, the Super Bowl of Street Racing further transforms the street into a motorsports competition as cruising becomes a custom car show, music blasting turns into a dB competition, twisty back roads become a Gymkhana course and parking lot burnouts turn into $200 wild and smoke filled contests!

It’s time for change; it’s time for a revolution, its time for the true racer's race: Street Scene Revolution's Super Bowl of Street Racing! The drag racing series developed by street racers for the street racers.

Street Scene Revolution is a subsidiary of 5th Element Marketing Inc and offer both the Super Bowl of Street Racing series and an organization called Evo Street Racers. For more details about Evo Street Racers click here.
